Mission Statement

Investigation Station creates interactive experiences for Pasco County residents and visitors. Travel through the solar system, From the Sun to Pluto is a one-mile scaled model of the solar system along the bicycle trail in Starkey Wilderness Park. Create, destroy and create again with our Kidstruction traveling exhibit that is available through the Pasco County Library System. Or stay active even during the hot summer, at the Splash Pad in Veterans Memorial Park in Hudson that teaches kids about the Water Cycle while enjoying a free and safe interactive experience.

Our current project is a timeline of the history of Florida geology called, Florida Rocks!
A Walk Through Geologic Time

Did you know that 23 million years ago, Florida was teeming with animal life. Here is an example of Miocene predatory sea life, a megalodon shark, that would have been swimming in our waters.
